A Two-Stage Configuration Method of Energy Storage Stations Considering the Joint Clearing of the Electricity Market and the Frequency Modulation Market
The capacity configuration of energy storage stations (ESS) not only consider the investment cost during the construction stage, but also consider the total benefits of the electricity market (EM) and the frequency modulation market (FMM) during the operating stage. Therefore, a two -stage configuration method of considering EM and FMM joint clearing energy storage power stations is proposed in this article. Firstly, the benefit model of ESS in the construction stage is established, which takes into account the average annual construction cost and the annual electricity market transaction income. Then, the bidding models of EM and FMM are proposed, and the constraints of EM and FMM joint clearing are proposed. The proposed configuration architecture, integrated with a two-stage process, outlines the intricate steps for the interwoven configuration of both markets. Finally, a model solution method based on the principle of puppets and commercial solution is proposed, and the effectiveness of the method of this article is used to verify the method of improvement standards.
