Research on Coordinated Voltage Control in Distribution Networks Based on Photovoltaics and Distributed Energy Storage
With the rapid development of renewable energy, the penetration rate of photovoltaics (PV) in distribution networks has been continuously increasing, while distributed energy storage (DESS) technology has also gradually matured. However, the high penetration of PV integration and improper operation of DESS can lead to a series issues including voltage fluctuations in distribution networks. To addresses the issue of voltage limit violations in distribution networks, this paper first analyzes the impact of distributed energy storage on node voltage levels, then proposes a mathematical model for voltage optimization in distribution networks considering both PV and DESS. In addition, through case simulation, it verifies that the proposed model effectively regulates voltage in distribution networks, enhancing both the reliability of the grid and the quality of electric power.
