Ni-catalyzed C(sp 3 )–C(sp 3 ) cross-coupling to access γ-carbonyl alkylboronates and alkylsilicons enabled by cyclopropanol-derived homoenolates

A nickel-catalyzed C(sp 3 )–C(sp 3 ) ring-opening cross-coupling reaction of cyclopropanols with α-boryl and α-silyl electrophiles is presented, offering an efficient route to access γ-carbonyl alkylboronates and alkylsilicons under mild conditions.
