JUSTIFICATION OF THE TYPE OF CONVEYOR BELT DRIVE USED FOR LOADING CARS

The drive types of modern belt conveyors used for loading cars are analyzed in order to assess their efficiency and reliability. Industrially produced Belt conveyors produced in industry have significant differences in their fields of application and the limitations imposed on them, which leads to differences in configurations and technical characteristics. When analyzing drives of belt conveyors, it is necessary to take into account many factors, including the types of mechanisms used, as well as their design features, productivity, efficiency, power consumption, and others. The analysis is based on data provided by manufacturers of belt conveyors in open sources. The paper considers both domestic and foreign manufacturers of belt conveyors used for loading cars.
