Design of optical transmission link of C-band program distribution system
For the program distribution system of satellite broadcasting and television system, in order to meet the requirements of international users to increase the reliability of the system, the two ground stations adopt the redundant 1:1 backup design. It is a big challenge to solve the problem of long-distance transmission of ground station RF signal and monitoring signal. The system introduces an optical transmission link design to reduce the communication loss in the long-distance transmission within ground station and between the ground station and the ground station, meet the requirements of EIRP and G/T value communication in the satellite link ground station, for supporting the normal transmission of satellite broadcast programs. The main contents include system communication function, performance, composition and main equipment design. The outstanding feature of the scheme is to use C-band optical terminal and digital optical terminal equipment for fusion communication to meet the long-distance transmission of C-band signals and monitoring signals in the system. The system has passed the engineering verification test, and has a strong reference significance for the disaster recovery design of the satellite ground station master and standby station and the improvement of the system's usability.
