GESTÃO DE TEMPO E CUSTOS NA CONSTRUÇÃO DE RESIDÊNCIAS MULTIFAMILIARES: UM ESTUDO DE CASO NO MUNICÍPIO DE CAUCAIA-CE

The construction industry has been experiencing uncertainties and fluctuations since the mid-2000s. Regarding cost and time management, the situation is no different, hence the need for better resource planning, presenting elements that enable and provide a more coherent application of these resources. Thus, quality management is essential to mitigate delays, increase productivity and disseminate continuity in production, aiming to guide the precision of labor for the work performed. Based on the above, this study aims to apply a WBS as a management tool in the execution of residential works. A case study was carried out to theoretically support the concepts and scope of the work in multifamily residences in the municipality of Caucaia-CE. The WBS was assembled after data collection for the research, based on the Seinfra-Ce table 26.1. The results obtained presented a multifamily residence with the use of a WBS and another similar work without the use of this tool. Therefore, it was concluded that planning is a difficult task, however, with a budget and control over the essential tools it is possible to achieve success in any project, regardless of its size, for time and cost management that will bring more reliability to the processes and stability in the deadlines.
