The relevance of the research topic is based on the vital need to analyze new trends in modern historical education as an integral part of the humanitarization of higher education and the corresponding changes in the federal state educational standards of higher education. Methodological and conceptually substantive issues of teaching Russian history, the foundations of Russian statehood, and the history of Russian religions in modern universities require systematic research. Purpose of the study.
