A Ótica Bibliométrica
In constant transformation and evolution, the formation of new markets results from continuous actions. Bibliometric analysis can contribute to the knowledge of the field of scientific study of a topic or research area. In this sense, the objective of this study is to explore the existing literature on market construction, identifying how different authors structure and analyze different aspects of this process. To this end, the bibliometric method was adopted through the Bibliometrix package in the R software and bibliographic collections exported from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The bibliometric analysis resulted in 121 documents published in the period from 1968 to 2024. Although the scientific production found on market construction was small, with peaks of growth and declines, it was demonstrated that there was an increase in publications over the years. The most frequent terms were highlighted, as well as identifying that the conceptual structure is composed of niche themes and basic and transversal themes.
