Two new Anaulacomera species (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Phaneropterinae) and first female descriptions of A. dama and A. sylviae from protected areas in southern Brazil
Anaulacomera is the most diverse Latin America genus of katydids (Tettigoniidae), comprising 171 species. After conducting sampling activities in the state of Paraná, southern Brazil, within the Atlantic Forest biome, specifically in Iguaçu National Park (INP), Cabeça do Cachorro State Park (CCSP), and Rio Guarani State Park (RGSP), two new species of Anaulacomera were identified. In this study, we described Anaulacomera (Cervicercora) vieiradiasi sp. nov., sampled in INP and CCSP, and Anaulacomera (Anaulacomera) blancoi sp. nov. collected in INP and RGSP. Additionally, we provide the first descriptions of females for two previously known species: Anaulacomera (Anallomes) sylviae and Anaulacomera (Cervicercora) dama.
