Based on Rodgers' Evolutionary Concept Analysis Definition of Digital Health Literacy
Objective The Rodgers evolutionary concept analysis method was used to define the concept of digital health literacy. Methods CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed and Web of Science databases were searched in English and Chinese, and the literature was screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main steps are to distinguish digital health literacy-related concepts, identify attributes, typical cases, and analyze antecedents and consequences. Results A total of 55 articles were included, including 10 Chinese articles and 45 English articles. Conceptual attributes include four aspects: functional, critical, interactive, and transformative. The antecedent variables of digital health literacy mainly include sociodemographic characteristics, digital device factors, online health information attitudes, and environmental factors. The main consequences are physical health outcomes, mental health effects, and social effects. Conclusion This study defines the concept of digital health literacy, and provides ideas and development directions for the development of digital health literacy assessment tools and theoretical models.
