The importance of the rural economy for Russia

The importance of the rural economy for Russia in terms of the production of public goods, the realization of national goals, and the contribution to the formation of gross domestic product is specified. Methodological approaches to the definition of public goods are substantiated. A number of national goals are correlated with the possibilities of achieving them by economic entities located in rural areas and the population living in rural areas. Based on the above algorithm, the assessment of the contribution of the rural economy to the gross domestic product of the country is determined.
