CLUSTERING OF THE GERMAN ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE FORMATION OF THE INDUSTRY 4.0 PLATFORM

Relevance. One of the key factors contributing to the clusterization of the German economy is the high degree of self-organization of participants and the ability to defend common interests at different levels, including interaction with large businesses and government agencies. Nevertheless, despite the measures being taken and projects being implemented, the German economy is facing stagnation, and Germany’s leading and promising industrial sectors may find themselves in a difficult situation in the future. The purpose of the study. To study the German experience of cluster development in terms of the specifics and mechanism of functioning of state support and to assess its effectiveness. Research objectives: 1) Analyze current German projects in the field of digitalization and other high-tech industries; 2) evaluate the decisions of the current authorities in terms of their focus on all crisis areas and changes in the situation in the near and medium term.
