THE CRITERIA FOR ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ACTIVITIES IN TB EPIDEMIC FOCI

Objective: to provide scientific justification and develop criteria for effective activities in TB epidemic foci based on the regional register data. Materials and methods. The study covered Moscow as a whole and one of the administrative districts with the population of 1,785 million people. We used the data from the regional register of epidemiological monitoring of TB in Moscow in 2022–2023 and the 1st quarter of 2024 implemented under the Barklay-SV system for medical data administration. Results. We studied household and occupational TB epidemic foci consisted of 2.866 patients, analyzed the volume and quality of preventive activities implemented by phthisiologists. We determined 13 criteria to assess the quality of work performed by a district phthisiologist in TB epidemic foci, performed an expert assessment, and developed assessment scores. Conclusion. The developed criteria allow assessing volumetric indicators of the process in order to implement effective activities in TB epidemic foci. Phthisiologists have obtained new criteria of volumetric indicators of the process, and health managers have obtained an instrument to improve the effectiveness of work in TB epidemic foci.
