FEATURES AND PREVALENCE OF CAUSATIVE AGENTS OF MYCOBACTERIOSES
The review describes the current view on nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) species causing mycobacterioses. The recent escalation of NTM has made them active causative agents of infections in humans, especially those with immunodeficiency. It is imperative to develop a registry of mycobacteriosis patients to improve quality of medical aid based on early detection and rapid identification of NTM.
