COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SOFTWARE SANDBOX FUNCTIONALITY

The article discusses the functionality of software sandboxes that allow running software in virtual isolated software environments for testing and security testing purposes. The authors performed a detailed review of literature and scientific publications, based on which the article examines in detail the functionality of software sandboxes available in the context of import substitution of software in the Russian Federation. The results of a comparative analysis of existing solutions for creating software sandboxes are shown. The solutions were compared based on several criteria and metrics. The authors conducted performance tests of the solutions, which allowed them to evaluate the speed of working with the data warehouse, as well as the speed of launching standard corporate applications. The article describes in detail the testing methodology and provides the results of each test. Based on the test results, as well as a detailed review of the functionality, conclusions are made about the best scenarios for using each solution, depending on the user's tasks.
