Theoretical and Methodological Approaches to Defining the Concept and Features of the Electoral Process

Author raises the problem of understanding the electoral process from the point of view of theoretical and methodological approaches. The work of domestic and foreign researchers has been studied to determine the definition of the electoral process. When considering this issue, such methods of study as legal, political science, systemic, historical were applied. The author comes to the conclusion that the electoral process is a legitimate way of forming the personnel of state and municipal authorities in accordance with the will of the voters.
