FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ ANALYTICAL COMPETENCIES IN THE STUDY OF ECONOMIC DISCIPLINES

The development trends in student education increasingly focus on the practical plane, aimed at the formation of abstract and logical thinking of the student. In the process of teaching students at the university, they face the problems of competence formation in the process of writing final qualifying papers related to conducting an economic analysis of the research object. In this regard, it becomes important to strengthen the work on the formation of competencies in the field of analytical thinking of students, taking into account practical realities. The presented article considers a methodological approach to consolidating the competencies of a teacher, gaining knowledge in the field of economic analysis. Starting from obtaining reliable information about the research object, conducting the analysis correctly, and making logical and consistent conclusions about the aspects under study. The paper presents the sequence of a practical lesson on the topic “Analysis of the effectiveness of the use of fixed assets of an organization and the factors influencing it.” The results were tested on a group of students, which allows us to draw conclusions about its effectiveness. Strengthening students’ analytical thinking allowed them to improve their work with information and tools, and to present conclusions and recommendations for the future logically and consistently, taking into account the trends in the development of the research object.
