E-COMMERCE AS THE DOMINANT OF ADAPTIVE BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CYBER-PHYSICAL SYSTEMS
Topicality. It is difficult to imagine a modern business process without the use of information and communication systems. A fundamentally new approach to conducting business processes is emerging, as well as new concepts such as: Internet economy, digital economy, electronic business, electronic commerce. This has led to the transformation of the purchase and sale process in such areas as: combining the processes of development, promotion to the market, sales, delivery, after-sales service and payment for goods and services via the Internet and creating a virtual community of consumers and business partners. Thus, the digitalization of business is becoming the engine of development of national economies, and the need to use digital technologies is a mandatory requirement for the implementation of business processes. The leading role in the effective functioning of business is played by the reflexive-active environment of entrepreneurship, an integral part of which is e-commerce as the dominant adaptive management of business processes under the influence of cyber-physical systems. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to study e-commerce as a dominant in adaptive business process management under the influence of cyber-physical systems. Achieving the specified goal necessitated the formulation and solution of the following tasks: to investigate the formation of e-commerce in Ukraine as a dominant in adaptive business process management; to analyze the development of e-commerce in the domestic and foreign markets; to identify threats and advantages in the implementation of e-commerce in the business processes of the enterprise. Materials and methods. The information and methodological basis of the study is formed by the results of theoretical generalization of scientific works and methodological approaches in the field of adaptive management of business processes in the context of digitalization, analytical data of the World Bank and the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. To solve the tasks set, methods of systemic, structural-logical, comparative, statistical analysis were used. Research results. The emergence of e-commerce in Ukraine as a dominant adaptive business process management in terms of its essence, functions, main elements, characteristic differences from traditional trade, and main business models has been studied. It has been proven that recently there has been a strategy of transition of e-commerce to “omnichannel”, that is, to a strategy of increasing the number of devices from which users can access the Internet. An analysis of the development of e-commerce in the domestic and foreign markets showed that in world practice e-commerce is becoming increasingly widespread. The five countries with the highest share of GDP derived from e-commerce in 2021 included: the United Kingdom, Estonia, Greece, Spain, and France, and the five countries with the smallest share included: Malta, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Moldova, and Serbia. Ukraine ranks 19th among 36 European countries by this indicator and is next to such countries as: Sweden (18) and Ireland (20) and in 2018-2021 there was an increase of 0.9 pp. But an analysis of the number of enterprises that carried out e-commerce by type of economic activity shows that in the Ukrainian economy there is a very uneven distribution by this indicator. The main advantages and threats of implementing e-commerce in the business processes of the enterprise are identified in three groups: general, for the supplier (seller, owner); for the consumer (buyer, client). Conclusion. E-commerce is present in all spheres of life due to global digitalization and acts as a dominant adaptive management of business processes under the influence of cyber-physical systems. It provides great opportunities for buyers, sellers and the country as a whole to develop innovations, increase economic efficiency, increase profits, flexibility and resilience to external and internal shocks, interaction in the global market, global opportunities for choice, etc. This, in turn, contributes to the creation of new professions, jobs and new approaches to adaptive management of business processes in the context of digitalization.
