CIÊNCIAS DA VIDA E DA NATUREZA: PROPOSTA DE ENSINO PARA AS CLASSES MULTISSERIADAS DO CAMPO
Among the many actions in the field of rural schools, we mention the organization in multi-grade classes, which brings together, in the same room, students from different grades, guided by a single teacher. The heterogeneity present in these classes, linked to identity factors, such as the environment, culture, production, social and geographical spaces, etc., need to be considered in the elaboration of specific educational policies and practices for this context. Teachers see this diversity as a problem and understand that the solution is to make different plans for each group. Obviously, the teacher will have difficulties with this organization. Another issue is the neglect of science teaching in the early years of elementary school, with greater emphasis on teaching Portuguese and Mathematics. In this sense, this research was carried out in multiserial classes in the field in two municipalities in Minas Gerais: Aricanduva and Teófilo Otoni under the methodological perspective of action research. We apply the Science Teaching Model in order to subsidize the work of teachers in the search for strategies that promote the interaction of students at different levels, using heterogeneity in favor of pedagogical practice. In addition, we take into account, the principles of Rural Education, the dynamics and organicity of the multiserial classes.
