CREATIVE MEDIA PRACTICES OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AS A WAY TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

The paper analyzes influence of creative media practices on the formation of professional competencies of students of pedagogical specialties of the Ural State Pedagogical University (USPU). Based on the analysis of the final pedagogical projects presented in the format of multimedia presentations, the study identifies the eventual product of students’ work on media content as the development of critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and readiness for innovative activities of future teachers.
