Features of the indices of specific humoral immune response to influenza A and B viruses in humans and animals in psoriasis and current influenza infection in Khabarovsk Krai

Relevance of the problem. Khabarovsk Krai is an unfavorable territory in terms of psoriasis incidence in the epidemiological aspect. The prevalence and primary incidence of psoriasis in the Khabarovsk Krai population is higher than in the Russian Federation as a whole and in the Far Eastern Federal District. The objective of this study was to analyze the study of serotypes of human and animal influenza as a trigger as the main causative factor of psoriasis during the influenza epidemiological season in Khabarovsk Krai. Material and methods. The object of laboratory serological studies were blood sera of patients diagnosed with psoriasis and with current influenza infection in patients without psoriasis, using standard antigens of human influenza viruses A and B and their own zoonotic viruses of birds and animals obtained in the laboratory where the studies were conducted. Blood sera of patients with current influenza infection who do not suffer from psoriasis were used as a comparison. Results and discussion. The article describes the results of comparative studies of specific antibodies to various antigenic drifts of zoonotic and human influenza viruses A and B in patients with psoriasis and with influenza infection during the influenza epidemiological season in Khabarovsk Krai. Certain differences in the specific humoral immune response to influenza A and B viruses in humans and animals in psoriasis and in individuals with current influenza infection have been revealed. Conclusion. During the influenza season, the risk of infection with various influenza serovars among patients with psoriasis is higher than in the absence of psoriasis. Antibodies to human and animal influenza viruses were found significantly 1.5 times more often among patients with psoriasis than in the comparison group. Zoonotic and other influenza viruses may possibly act as triggers for the manifestation and chronification of the autoimmune inflammatory psoriatic process.
