Abstract

Along with legislative incoherence and implicitly high taxation, the main brake in the development of the business environment in the country is precisely the lack of efficiency of banking services. More precisely, the lack of truly functional e-banking solutions or alternatives that can minimize the interaction between the bank clerk and the accountant who makes the interface between a company and the bank. Given the fact that currently foreign banks and (international) providers of specialized services still refuse to process payments with cards issued by the Moldovan bank, a first pilot project would aim to create an electronic payment infrastructure that would interconnect the main Moldovan banks, with which the administration (central and local - tax collectors) and vital service providers (water, electricity, energy, [telecommunications]) work and through which, subsequently, from smart terminals located in public places, ay citizen to - and can pay the monthly bills and payments.
