DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION OF EDUCATION

The paper discusses the impact of digitalization of higher education on the development of teacher’s methodological competence. The author analyzes various publications and research papers on the topic of methodological competence of instructors in higher education and how it is impacted by digitalization processes in education. The paper considers the issues of transforming the teachers’ methodological competence in response to new information technologies, approaches to the assessment of methodological competence, teachers’ activity in dealing with digital technologies (including virtual assistants) in the educational process.
