IDENTIFICATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LOGICAL COMPONENT OF THE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS COURSE AS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF PROFESSIONAL TEACHER TRAINING

The article discusses the logical component of the modern school mathematics course, updates domestic traditions of developing logical literacy of schoolchildren, and proposes methods for structuring mathematical content when introducing the “Logic” module into it. Pedagogical students’ mastery of techniques for identifying and implementing the logical component of the educational material of a school mathematics course is considered as a tool that increases the effectiveness of schoolchildren’s teaching of mathematics.
