HISTORICAL LOCAL LORE STUDIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN ALTAI KRAI

Local history is an important part of the modern socio-cultural and scientific landscape of Altai. Local researchers, based on more than a century of experience of their predecessors, take into account the modern realities of the 21st century. The article highlights the factors contributing to the further professionalization of historical knowledge, which is largely related to the training of personnel and the implementation of serious scientific and publishing projects in universities of the Altai Krai. The author dwells on the local history activity of museums, libraries, archives, public organizations of the region and examines the problems of school local history.
