Assessing the Role of Natural Attractions in Economic Development: The Case of Pacitan Regency
Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate how the tourism industry affects Pacitan Regency’s economic expansion. The number of visitors, the attractions, and the road infrastructure were among the variables we examined using multiple linear regression analysis on secondary data from 2018 to 2023. The findings reveal that these parameters have a large and beneficial impact on economic improvement, whereas the number of hotels has no such effect. The continuous expansion of tourist attractions boosts local economic potential by encouraging community entrepreneurship. These results suggest that Pacitan Regency’s sustainable economic growth can be fueled by targeted investments in tourism infrastructure.
