Design of Multi-Parameter Water Environment Monitoring System Based on NB-IoT
Abstract Due to factors such as accelerated industrialization and lagging construction of pollution control facilities, some water bodies in Zhejiang Province are experiencing worsening pollution. In order to overcome the problems of low efficiency and difficult data statistics in traditional water quality monitoring methods, we have designed a multi parameter water quality monitoring system based on NB-IoT(Narrow Band Internet of Things). The system is controlled by the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller and is capable of real-time collection of water temperature, turbidity, pH value, dissolved oxygen, and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). The data received by the buoy monitoring platform is transmitted remotely to the onshore data server and monitoring center through other buoy sensing nodes or aggregation nodes by using NB-IoT technology. The buoy monitoring platform utilizes wind solar complementary power supply as the energy system, and achieves energy management of the buoy system through a wind solar complementary controller. Through the practical application of this system, it is of significance to prevent sewage discharge and improve the water quality resources of rivers and lakes.
