A study of coupled trading decisions of wind and solar power producers in the electricity spot and green certificate markets
In the context of the global energy transition and the realisation of the ‘double carbon’ goal, the coupled trading decision of wind power generation enterprises in the electricity market is particularly important. In order to enhance the economic benefits of new energy and promote the green transformation of the electricity market, this paper studies the coupling trading strategy of wind power generation enterprises in the spot electricity market and the green certificate market. Firstly, this paper analyses the trading decision problem of wind power generation enterprises in the market, and discusses the interaction mechanism between the electricity spot market and the green certificate market. Then, a two-layer coupled trading decision model is constructed, with the upper model aiming to maximise the revenue of wind power generators and the lower model simulating the coupled clearing process of the market. Through the combination of Chaotic Sparrow Search Algorithm and Gurobi solver, the model is solved effectively in this paper, and the practicality of the model is verified through arithmetic simulation. The results of the study show that the wind power generation enterprises are able to maximise the revenue in the two-tier market through strategic offers, and at the same time promote the consumption of new energy. This study provides theoretical support for the market trading decision of wind power generation enterprises, and provides an important reference for the green development of the electricity market and policy formulation.
