Research on ice-covering detection technology of high-voltage transmission lines under extreme meteorological conditions
At present, more and more high-voltage transmission lines need to be worn to adapt to extreme meteorological conditions, especially due to the frequent occurrence of transmission line failure problems caused by snow and ice disasters, thus causing certain economic losses, so it is necessary to explore a detection algorithm that effectively recognizes the state of high-voltage transmission lines under extreme meteorological conditions. In this paper, a new edge detection algorithm is proposed by combining the wavelet transform mode maxima and multiscale multi-structural morphology through the weighted fusion algorithm, so as to realize the detection of the ice-covered state of transmission lines. Under the experimental conditions, the edge detection error rate of this algorithm is only 0.662%, which meets the requirements for the identification and detection of ice-covered transmission lines under extreme conditions, and provides technical support for the next step of the research on the state assessment method of transmission lines.
