Electrospinning-Based All-Fiber TENGs for Wearable Energy Harvester

Developing textile-based electronics with good wearability is a potential future development direction. Although, the current state-of-the-art textile-based electronics show unique advantages in the field of electronic textiles (e-textile), further progress is required in realizing e-textile due to the arduous challenge of optimally combining electrical performance and textile performance. Here, we report a fully fiber-based energy-harvesting electronics textile with good electrical and mechanical properties. The porous structure of the textile obtained by electrospinning technology makes it breathable and comfortable. The output peak-to-peak voltage can reach 150 volts and can power some small electronic devices. In applications, small screens can be illuminated by integrating energy harvesters into clothing. Therefore, it is an suitable e-textile energy harvester option for future battery-free electronics.
