Data analysis of power cable moisture and cable explosion-proof box
High voltage cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables are widely used in power transmission systems, but moisture and fault problems are prominent. This study analyzed in detail the formation process of water branches in the insulation layer of cables and their impact on insulation performance through monitoring and diagnostic methods. A new non-destructive testing technology was proposed to improve the reliability and service life of cable operation.
