Research on jet cooling of gas turbine casings based on the Conda Effect
This article studies the heat transfer characteristics inside the blade crown chamber of a gas turbine, proposes a new configuration design. Based on commercial fluid computing software and numerical simulation method, a numerical calculation model is established, and the boundary conditions of the model gas turbine test data are discussed the casing jet cooling on the heat transfer coefficient of the blade crown wall, and analyzes the influence of casing jet cooling design based on the “Conda effect” on heat transfer characteristics of the blade crown. Study found that the high heat transfer coefficient area of the blade crown is concentrated at the leading edge, lower right side of S1 grate front, the front side of each grate tooth top, and the end of the blade crown tail edge. Based on the “Conda effect”, the jet cooling design reduces the heat transfer coefficient of various parts to a certain extent.
