Research on GPC Predictive Control Method for Ultra-Supercritical Units
Ultra-supercritical units are a critical component of modern power systems, playing a key role in efficient and clean power generation. However, traditional control methods face limitations due to the complex dynamics, nonlinearities, time delays, and multivariable couplings of these units. This paper introduces the Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) method to enhance control performance in ultra-supercritical units. It first analyzes the characteristics and control challenges of these units, followed by a detailed discussion on GPC principles and its advantages in unit control. A GPC-based control strategy is then designed, implemented, and validated through simulations, demonstrating improvements in response speed, control accuracy, and disturbance rejection. The paper concludes with a summary of findings and suggestions for future research directions.
