The geopoetic image of the taiga in the prose of A. V. Eliseev
The article is devoted to the study of the essential features of the geopoetic image of the Far Eastern taiga in the prose of A. V. Eliseev as one of the dominant topoi of the Far Eastern local hypertext. Based on the analysis of A. V. Eliseev's travel prose dedicated to the Far East, the author hypothesizes the presence of recurrent plots, characters, and motifs in the geopoetic representation of the taiga space, conditioned by the frontier "Far Eastern myth". The aim of the study is to identify the artistic specificity of the representation of the Far Eastern taiga space as a dominant meaning-forming topos of the geopoetic image of the Far East. The scientific novelty lies in examining the evolution of the taiga image in the works of A. V. Eliseev, as well as in identifying the dominant features of the taiga space image in the general historical and literary context. The results obtained showed that the geopoetic image of the taiga as a "recognizable" topos associated with the Far East reflects both objective natural and geographical features, and symbolic and conceptual ones (spontaneity and uniqueness of the natural space, moral and physical exclusivity of the subjects interacting with the taiga, etc.).
