Abstract

Lane marking detection technology has matured significantly over the past few years, playing a crucial role in the advancement of autonomous driving systems. However, despite these advancements, the technology continues to face substantial challenges in complex environments, which can severely hinder its accuracy and reliability. The difficulties encountered are multifaceted, stemming from a variety of factors such as adverse weather conditions, dynamic obstacles, and inconsistent lane markings. These complexities make it increasingly difficult to ensure that lane marking detection systems perform effectively in real-world scenarios. In response to these challenges, this study explores the application of advanced techniques, to enhance the robustness and precision of lane marking detection systems. By leveraging deep learning algorithms and artificial intelligence, we aim to develop methodologies that can adapt to the varying conditions encountered on the road. Recent advancements in this domain have demonstrated significant improvements in detection accuracy, leading to more reliable navigation for autonomous vehicles. Moreover, this research emphasizes the critical importance of integrating effective lane marking detection mechanisms within autonomous driving technology, as they are essential for ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and enhancing overall safety. The outcomes of this study contribute to the ongoing efforts to optimize lane marking detection, thereby facilitating the broader adoption of autonomous driving technologies in diverse environments.
