Digital Transformation in SCM

This study delves into the important transition of supply chain management (SCM) from traditional to digital frameworks, highlighting the substantial impact of digital technology on industrial processes. It seeks to distinguish the traits that set digital supply chains—which rely on automation and real-time data—apart from traditional supply chains, which are frequently characterized by manual procedures and restricted visibility. The study presents the advantages of using technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT) with real- world examples. These benefits include increased customer satisfaction, increased efficiency, and significant cost savings. It also identifies the major technological developments, including as cloud computing and predictive analytics, that are influencing the digital transformation of SCM. The report also addresses the difficulties that companies encounter, including dangers related to data security, skill shortages, and resistance to change. This research aims to equip supply chain experts with the necessary knowledge to adopt digital innovations successfully, assuring competitiveness in a global market that is becoming more and more dynamic. It does this by putting up strategic solutions to these constraints. In the end, the results emphasize how important it is for supply chains to embrace digital transformation in order to experience resilient and sustainable growth.
