Optimization design method for wind-solar-thermal storage complementary system based on electric-thermal energy storage
This paper proposes a wind-solar-thermal storage complementary system integrated with the electrode boiler and high-pressure steam storage device for the electricity and steam demands of industrial parks. Electric-thermal energy storage can efficiently absorb renewable energy and provide a stable and economical energy supply to industrial parks. Considering the complexity of operations with energy storage, the two-layer optimization method is used to optimize the system configuration. The lower layer uses linear programming for system operation optimization, while the upper layer employs a genetic algorithm for multi-objective optimization of equipment configuration, thus determining the optimal configuration. The ideal point method is used to make decisions on the Pareto frontiers obtained from the multi-objective optimization to determine the optimal configuration. A case study results show that, compared to wind-solar systems without thermal energy storage, the proposed system can effectively reduce operating costs while improving the renewable energy absorption rate, demonstrating the superiority of the proposed system.
