A Study on Factors Ascending ‘Z’ Generation Perception to use an ‘Affiliated Marketing’ with Special Emphasis on FMCG Products

In this study, the factors that shape Generation Z's perceptions of affiliate marketing are examined, with a focus on the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. As digital natives, Gen Z is heavily influenced by social media, online content, and influencers. These individuals are crucial to affiliate marketing because they establish credibility with brands by being genuine and open in their partnerships. This generation is very interested in personalized recommendations and prefers content that seems to be tailored to their own preferences and lifestyles. As a result, they are more likely to participate in affiliate marketing campaigns. When Gen Z is making purchases, social proof—such as peer reviews and influencer endorsements—is crucial because they are more likely to believe in things that are recommended by people they admire or who are in their immediate social networks. Additionally, this generation favors businesses that show a genuine commitment to ethical standards and represent their beliefs, and they place a high importance on brand ethics including sustainability, corporate responsibility, and transparency. By concentrating on partnerships with reliable influencers, offering customized content, and making sure their values coincide with those of this socially conscious generation, brands looking to reach Gen Z through affiliate marketing can increase their chances of success. This will ultimately strengthen brand loyalty and yield more noteworthy marketing outcomes in the FMCG sector.
