Robust day-ahead scheduling method for multi-infeed HVDC systems considering static voltage stability constraints
The line commutation converters based high-voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) system is the key technology for large-capacity long-distance power transmission. In order to ensure the stable operation of the multi-infeed power system and minimize the operating cost, a day-ahead scheduling method is proposed that takes into account the static voltage stability constraints and the load modeling uncertainty. First, the system model of the multi-infeed power system is introduced, and the static voltage stability constraints are deduced based on the singular value theory. Next, the load modeling uncertainty is described by the box-type set, and a robust day-ahead scheduling optimization model for the multi-infeed power system is established. Then, based on the column-and-constraint generation (CCG) algorithm, a piecewise linear solution method of the day-ahead scheduling model is proposed. Finally, a modified IEEE 39-bus system is tested to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
