Sectionalised switch location optimisation for reducing the risk of source-load outages in overhead active distribution networks
This paper presents a power outage loss risk model for calculating the expectation of customer outage time duration, power load outage energy loss value and distribution generator outage energy loss value. An objective function is constructed for optimising the sectional pole-mounted switch configuration in the overhead active distribution network. It comprehensively considers the improvement of customer outage time duration and outage loss value of sources and loads. Based on the differential evolution algorithm, a solution process is proposed to calculate the optimal installation position of pole-mounted switches. The effectiveness of the research results is verified using a medium-voltage distribution network in China as an example.
