Zero crossing switching method for series segmented powered ultra high speed linear motors
The segmented power supply technology for ultra high speed linear motors is one of the key technologies of commercial space electromagnetic launch systems. Compared with other methods, the series segmented power supply technology which has the advantages of low system capacity, small output power fluctuations in energy storage and converter system. This article first introduces the working principle and key technologies of the series segmented power supply scheme. Secondly, a series segmented power supply switching control system is established, and the execution time of the switch control system is analyzed and measured. Then, a switching judgment basis and zero crossing prediction algorithm considering the system execution time are proposed. Finally, a three-phase series segmented power supply experimental platform was established, and the feasibility of the algorithm was verified through experiments.
