A power coordination control strategy of DC microgrid with electricity-hydrogen energy storage considering minimum operating cost and energy storage safety
This study aims to solve the complexity of the hybrid energy storage DC microgrid operation by proposing a coordinated power control technology considering energy storage safety and minimum operating costs. At first, we developed the state machine control strategy based on the state of charge (SoC) and the state of hydrogen (SoH). We then distribute the hybrid energy storage system's power for the first time, ensuring that the SoC and SoH are essentially in sync to guarantee the energy storage system's dependability. In order to improve the economic performance of the system and ensure the reliability of the system, the minimum operating cost optimal control is added to the top control. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by using the real-time simulation platform RT-LAB hardware in the loop.
