Research on the calculation method of overall power supply capacity of multi-voltage level power grids

To realize the “N-1” calibration and mutual support across voltage levels, this paper presents a multi-voltage level power supply capacity calculation method, and gives a power sharing formula for calculating the benefit of project power supply based on the capacity of the power supply for the grid before and after the project’s operation. Firstly, the capacity of the power supply for the low-voltage distribution network is obtained by taking the distribution area as a unit; secondly, the capacity of the power supply for the medium-voltage distribution network is considered in conjunction with the capacity of the power supply for the low-voltage distribution network previously calculated to obtain the capacity of the power supply for the medium-voltage distribution network, and the capacity of the power supply for each transformer substation is also calculated, and finally the capacity of the power supply for the high-voltage distribution network is obtained by taking the high-voltage liaison network as a unit. Examples demonstrate that the proposed model and method have greater practical value for correctly measuring the overall power supply capacity of the grid, while also helping to identify weak points in the distribution network more intuitively and effectively.
