Hydrogen-based multi-energy system planning model: a case study of Guangzhou
Decarbonization of the power system is the key to China's realization of the "dual carbon" goal, and hydrogen energy can efficiently complement and coordinate with electricity and thermal energy to jointly support the "dual carbon" goal. The coordinated planning of these three complex systems is of great significance. This study established a collaborative optimization planning model for the power-heat-hydrogen energy system based on the k-means algorithm, and applied the model to optimize the planning of the coordinated development path of Guangzhou's power-heat-hydrogen energy system towards carbon neutrality, and obtained the coordinated mode of the power-heat-hydrogen energy system, which has reference significance for the "dual carbon" path planning of Guangzhou and other regions. The optimization results show that Guangzhou will reach its carbon peak in 2030, and the hydrogen energy system mainly provides flexibility for the power system and the hydrogen energy system through hydrogen production-storage-application, and mainly plays a long-term regulation role.
