Economic dispatch of renewable energy-hydrogen coupling system considering equipment lifespan degradation and operating characteristics

Changes in the operating conditions of the electrolysis plant and changes in the operating parameters will affect the economi cs of the renewable energy-hydrogen coupling system. To achieve the economic dispatch of the system, this paper proposes an economic dispatch model of renewable energy-hydrogen coupling systems considering equipment lifespan degradation and operating characteristics. The proposed model linearises the relationship between the hydrogen production efficiency of the system and the key operating parameters to optimise the key operating parameters of the equipment. An energy storage device is employed to reduce the abandonment of wind and solar energy and promote renewable energy consumption. To further improve the economics of system operation, a lifespan degradation cost-sharing mechanism is proposed, which reduces the impact of random fluctuations in renewable energy output on equipment lifespan. The proposed economic dispatch model has the optimisation objective of minimising the operating cost during the optimisation cycle, of which the effectiveness is validated using a case study.
