METAPHORICAL ASSOCIATIVE CARDS: INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES IN WORKING WITH STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

The article is devoted to innovative techniques for the development of communication and creative abilities of students with OOP MAC techniques to create an associative metaphorical fairy tale, the use of which makes it possible to directly influence the emotional and sensory sphere of the child, change behavior patterns, and actualize the hidden resource capabilities of the individual. The integrative use of metaphorical associative cards in the lessons of Ukrainian and English, Ukrainian and foreign literature, music and art is analyzed. The implemented methodology allows children to understand the techniques of group work and master communication skills, comprehensively research, discuss issues and problems, admit mistakes, learn to listen to another child's opinion and continue it, integrate new knowledge with previous ones and generalize their ideas. The combination of different technologies into one integrated educational approach (writing associative metaphorical fairy tales according to the MAC in the lessons of Ukrainian literature; guessing phraseological units depicted on the MAC in Ukrainian and English lessons; guessing songs from metaphorical cards in music lessons; drawing a created metaphorical associative fairy tale, etc.) provides an opportunity for learning to become personal and person-oriented. Among the advantages of the innovation is the ability to analyze the collected information, to adapt the learning process to the individual characteristics of each student with OOP. The opportunity to have a positive learning experience both during individual work and during joint group work in the classroom, which leads to a sense of success.
