Advanced Device Interaction Enabled by Vision Control and Eye Gesture Recognition

The research focusses on a vision-based human-computer interface, in which we propose a method for recognising and categorising eye motions for the purpose of computer interaction. The goal of this research is to improve interaction between humans and computers. The purpose of the system is to make it possible for people who have physical restrictions to communicate with computers in a way that is both efficient and cost-effective by utilising eye movements. The proposed technique includes a number of important stages, including the detection of facial and eye areas, the pre - processing of pictures of the eye region, the extraction of Histogram of Orientated Gradients (HOG) features, and the classification of these features through the application of deep learning algorithms as well as machine learning. At the same time that an interface is being built to permit computer control by eye motions, a performance evaluation of the system is being carried out in order to determine how effective it is becoming. By utilizing strong computational approaches and inexpensive, easily available technologies, this project aims to provide equitable access to persons with physical limits.
