IoT Air Monitoring and Reporting System for Residential Environments
The impact of indoor air quality is a growing concern due to its effects on health, comfort, and well-being. This research proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system for monitoring and forecasting indoor air quality in residential environments. The system integrates multiple low-cost sensors, cloud services, and a time-series forecasting algorithm to analyze and predict air quality trends. Unique contributions of this work include a sensor integration framework, enhanced real-time monitoring capabilities, and predictive analytics tailored to residential indoor air quality management. This paper also emphasizes the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the architecture, which provides actionable insights for users to maintain a healthier indoor environment.
