The impact of digitizing India's cultural heritage on innovation and the socioeconomic front

India's rich historical history must be preserved and promoted through digitization in order to spur innovation and socioeconomic advancement. Monuments and cultural places have great historical and sentimental value, but they are also susceptible to human activity, environmental deterioration, and climate change. Archiving these priceless resources through digitization ensures their preservation and improves accessibility for public and scholarly usage. Understanding the digitalization processes of cultural heritage sites and their effects on India's socioeconomic circumstances and academic progress are the goals of this project. The results of a thorough literature study show that digitization protects monuments and artifacts by decreasing physical handling, facilitating remote access to qualified experts, and speeding up data retrieval. Furthermore, digital preservation encourages academic research and technical advancement in addition to protecting priceless cultural assets. As modernized techniques enable stable industrial development and contribute to the country's wider academic and economic landscape, the study emphasizes how important digitizing cultural assets is for the tourism industry's long-term prosperity.
