Comparative Study of Load Analysis in MANET Routing Protocols: AODV vs. AOMDV

The paper compares load analysis in Mobile Ad Hoc Network routing protocols, focusing on Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Ad hoc On-Demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) protocols, examining their performance in load distribution, network efficiency, and overall performance under different traffic conditions. Through extensive simulations and performance evaluations, the results demonstrate that AOMDV outperforms AODV in handling high-traffic scenarios, offering superior load balancing, enhanced network throughput, and reduced packet loss. Additionally, AOMDV's ability to leverage multiple paths for routing significantly improves both the security and quality of service (QoS) in multipath routing situations. The findings suggest that integrating enhancements into the AOMDV protocol can further optimize network performance, especially in high-traffic areas, and provide robust solutions for managing network load, security, and QoS. The paper suggests that enhancing AOMDV routing can enhance the efficiency and reliability of MANETs as a strategic approach.
